Almost 500 Texans signed the Pledge to End Hunger. As the state with the third highest number of people to sign The Pledge, Tyson Foods delivered a truck with 15 tons of much-needed protein to North Texas Food Bank, the largest of the twenty food banks in Texas. So far, the campaign has assembled almost 5,000 individuals who have vowed to make a difference for the more than 12 million children going hungry. Altogether, we have delivered enough food to four cities to provide 560,000 servings of protein. Additionally, more than 2,700 people have joined the groups Facebook cause and more than $28,000 in individual and matching donations from over 700 people has been raised to help Share Our Strength.
